The difference is that you are using a real file server, not peer-to-peer.

>We use a mixed network environnement with W98, W2k, XP boxes. All machines use a FPW 2.6 app and a VFP8 app accessing the same 2.6 free tables. Tables are on a W2K server (not on W98). On our sites, compatibility isn't a problem.
