I didn't like "... TO PRINTER ASCII". It was difficult to allign elements correctly. (However, I wanted to show you different alternatives.)

That is the reason that at first, I simply used "?" and "??"; later, to automate some things, I developed the class in download #9991. But if you use it, you can't use your existing reports (FRX); you have to put code in the methods of the class. A sample report is included, which shows you how to do this.

The text-report class has most capabilities of the VFP report writer (data grouping, page headers and footers, group headers and footers, even multiple columns). However, it is not visual - you have to write things in code.
