Denis;

LOL

Yes, Microsoft does market Visual FoxPro. However, not all of us are aware of that fact! You see, such marketing occurs behind closed doors on the Microsoft Campus. Only the privileged are allowed to know what the marketing concept is and what words are spoken behind those doors! On occasion we hear that VFP developers are the target audience. New developers and corporations are not desired.

It is costly to train Microsoft sales types with corporate contracts to suggest using VFP. It is less expensive to keep the world in the dark about this Microsoft Tool. The marketing strategy used by Microsoft to promote VFP is an indication of the importance of the product.

There was a time up until about 7 years ago, that VFP was taught at Universities in California. All that we have to do is let Bob and the Paper Clip guide us through our day and be sure to use Passport along the way, with Web Services, XML, Hot Mail, Internet Explorer, Outlook and all the other fine visions Mr. Gates has for the world. May you enjoy your computer experience! :)
