You miss a interesting presentation...
Looking glass is a desktop in 3d where you interact with windows and apps in a 3d world.

You can do a lot of cool things in it.
Like turning a browser window and write a note on the back of the window (most see).
You have an icon for each open window, in fact this is a smaller view of the same window put on a shelf on the bottom of the screen.

This is really 'cool', but I dont know if this kind of desktop can bring a better productivity or really help novices to take on on computers. If novice have problems to catch how to use a mouse in a flat 2d world, how they will be able to handle this 3d world?
If we exchange an apple, we both get an apple.
But if we exchange an idea, we both get 2 ideas, cool...
