I was wondering if you ever got your icon to display correctly. I have the same problem. I have an Icon with 16x16 and 32x32 images with 16 colors that worked fine with VFP7 but does not display in Windows Explorer when compiled in VFP8 (the Foxpro icon appears instead). It does appear correctly in the Taskbar, it just doesn't display in Explorer when the view is small or large icons. I have included the icon in the project. Did you eventually get your icon to display in Explorer?
