I don't do reports nowadays.

When I was doing them, I always just ran them in the VFP default data session, not in their own private ds. I always created a single flat reporting cursor from SQL commands against the real data tables.

I'm sure you'll find others that use the report DE for their reports.

>Thanks! Just another question though, for the longest time I really thought it wasn't advisable to use the DE of a report. I usually have make a form that accepts the parameters needed, then use these to create or prepare the data before I run REPORT FORM.
