I have followed your advice, and simpley cut and paste the Trigger script into a txt file, then save that. I can make modifications, and do CHECK SYNTAX all day until I APPLY. Then I put it in the txt file again, and can delete the original, and re-paste from the txt to make any further mod's. This way is not so bad, and it allows me to check functionality quickly by still being in EM.
