>I have re-installed VFP, deleted the Foxuser table, all the usual stuff but its still very flaky. Any ideas?
In hindsight, probably uninstalling vfp8 entirely, first, then loading XP would be better :-) We've had to do that with deveral different apps here, when upgrading XP on top of NT. But now, that would be a real pain for you, of course. Save that idea (uninstall XP, uninstall vfp8, reinstall XP, reinstall vfp8) for a desperate, last-resort idea.
At your point now, I'd go along with Tore's driver-check idea, as a first place to look for trouble.
I will add that I also have absolutely no trouble with vfp8/XP, they work very well together, normally, on 6-7 machines here.
