i get error "unknown member grid1" on line thisform.frmwithgrid.grid1.refresh().

if i do set step on after the thisform.frmWithGrid = m.frmWithGrid, and put "thisform.frmwithgrid" on the watch window, i can see grid1 on this sequence: thisform.frmwithgrid.parent.forms.forms[1].grid1.

if i use thisform.frmwithgrid.parent.forms.forms[1].grid1.refresh() i get the same error, "unknown member FORMS".

what to do? pls help.
