When I display a Memo field in a grid column, It comes up as Memo if there is something in the Grid.

You can, as Borislav pointed out, substitute an edit box in the column for the text box. However, if your memos are very large, you may want to consider putting the edit box outside the grid and refreshing it from the grid's AfterRowColChange when RowColChange is 1 or 3. Your users may find the information easier to deal with in this format.
