I was wanting to know if it is possible to return the result of the query directly with the RETURN rather than storing it to something and then RETURNing that. Also, I wanted to use the SELECT rather than COUNT for the very reason that COUNT moves the pointer! Again thanks to everyone
If you want to return a cusor you will need to use something like ADO which will give you a recordset object.
