I suppose you have thoroughly checked for the existence of an invisible cancel button and checked all of the keypress events back through the class hiearchy for something that may be inherited. If so and there is no code for escape key or cancel, I don't know.

I've been trying to find that since a while now. I just can't figure out where this is coming from.
