Hi,
Disable autodisconnect http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;297684&Product=win2000

>A client of mine has a network made up of Win2k server + XP pro as workstation. File sharing is enabled between the server and workstation plus some workstation share files to others. Our app (VFP6SP5) resides on one of these shared folders on an XP pro machine (henceforth called server PC). We frequently hit problems when somehow after some time, the XP machines get disconnected to the server PC while the app is still running.
>Checked the cabling and hub and everything there is fine. NIC's power saving mode are also off. This has resulted in file corruption problems.
>Any clues to ensure a persistent connection between these machines?
