I'm trying to show a field of 50 characters as 5 different columns on a grid by using left or substr.
However, all 5 columns seem to ignore the expression that I entered into the grid controlsource e.g. left(tablename.fieldname,5) or substr(tablename.fieldname,5,5).
Any suggestions ?
