What I was looking for was a way to see 'ALL' the memo details in every row of the grid, without having to click on each memo field to 'Open' the field. i.de being able to see a few lines from the memo field on every row for the memo column.

Set the CurrentControl of the column to the EditBox and set the column's sparse property to .F.

Also, if you have a copy of 1001 Things You Wanted to Know About Visual FoxPro, we have an expanding edit box in chapter 4 that also works in a grid. You can right click on the edit box and display a menu that allows you to expand the edit box so that it fills the entire grid.
