>The recruiter gets a cut from the doctor and the "patient" gets his cut from the recruiter. The doctor gets paid a handsome amount from the insurance company, from which he pays the recruiter and makes a nice profit for himself. Apparently, the recruiter get between $1,000-$2,000 and the "patient" gets between $500-$1500 (plus a fixed non-problem, of course).

most insurance coverage has an NEM maximum....
limiting how much someone can make participating in this scheme....
and of course there are also the dangers associated with any surgical procedure.....

personally i'd rather just work some overtime than get cut open for $1000...

heck i'd even flip hamburgers at Mcdonalds for 100 hours rather than receive a surgical procedure....

thanks for the laugh :)
