I have a registered copy of FoxSqz. It suprisingly works with Vfp 8.

Try saving the contents of the memo field to a file using strtofile and decompressing it with the exe version of foxsqz that comes in the demo.

He also had a product called COMP5 that compressed memo fields. You may want to give that a try. It also has an exe version in the demo.
