In addition to what Charles said about setting FetchSize to -1, make sure that asyncronous execution is NOT enabled for your connection. I have tried to use Access MDB's in the past and have seen this connection busy problem as well as other strangeness. When inserting or updating a record from a RV into a table, a subsequent view opened on the same table or a requery of the same view immediately after the update wouldn't get the new record unless I introduced a 5 second wait state after inserting or updating a record before requery. And this was with only one user accessing the database at a time. I shudder to think what multiusers accessing the data might have caused. This made it impossible for me to use Access MDB's.
