All the sudden this morning we started getting errors on our SQL 2000.
Microsoft SQL-DMO ( ODBC SQLState: 42000)
Error 170: Line 2: Incorrect syntax near ‘function’.
On every one our user-defended-functions.
I can move this function to a new database and it will syntax check ok.
Move it back it will give you the same error.

What could cause this general error?
How do you fix it?
