More detail on my problem, when a user clicks out of the grid to a blank space, pretty anything besides another control, my Valid() for the grid fires, appearing that it's losing control. It really doesn't lose control though, and when the user would click back on that grid without having gone into another control, my When() doesn't fire. I can't just do a KEYBOARD "{CTRL+TAB}" because sometime the grid is on a child form and that forces focus to be gained somewhere on the main form.

Any ideas?
