>>>Oh good, an easy one.
>>>
>>>1. Use your property sheet to highlight the grid column you want to replace. The property sheet should show Column1 (or whatever column you want).
>>>
>>>2. Select EditBox on the Form Property toolbar by clicking on it.
>>>
>>>3. Click anywhere on the column (not grid) you want to put the edit box in.
>>>
>>>If you want to remove the textbox, there are a couple more steps:
>>>
>>>4. Use the Property sheet to go to the TEXTBOX in the column where you added the Editbox.
>>>
>>>5. Click on the form designer title (it will say "Form Designer - MyForm.SCX")
>>>
>>>6. Press the DELETE key. You will now have ONLY the EditBox control in your column.
>>>
>>>If you want to keep both the Textbox and the Editbox (this may be required if your grid is not the base class).
>>>
>>>4a. Go to the Column you added the EditBox to. Click on DATA and set the CurrentControl to the EditBox.

>>Remember, that you cannot drag and drop the control from classlib in the Project Manager, you can only add it from the Form Controls toolbar. Who knows why? :)))

Ed, Barbara means open window with your form. You need to click on the title bar, not on the form itself.
