The "real windows" are needed in order to be able to use automatic test tools for apps developed in VFP. As you know, this is one of the main problems with big VFP apps. They could also be very useful for the use of Win32 API functions on controls.
Why do you say that "data bindinding capabilities go right out the window" with "real window" controls?
