Hi Todd,
You will not be able to do this for VFP because of a bug in VS.NET for OleDb providers. However, for SQL Server, this can be caused when your table doesn't have a primary key or your database has a "." in the name. If that doesn't explain it for you then try using Northwind in SQL Server and make sure it works there.
