Almost you are right.
But you should pay a great attention to possitions of the MICR line and proper font placing and dimentions between digits, etc.
We made a ASP.Net/C# application for www.chequesource.com in Canada and have a lot of problems with Lexmark and HP Troy printers, because they are managed in different way.
