I have just upgraded to VFP 8.0 because there was a specific function that I needed that is not in VFP 6.0.

Now that I have done this I find that I can't close forms properly when debugging.

i.e. If I have a form that has run into problems because of bugs, I get the debugger with Cancel/Ignore etc. But I find that I can't get the form off the screen. When I click on File on the Menu Bar, there is no Close Option. Sometimes there is an X in the upper right hand corner which permits me to close the form. If there is no X, then I am left with File | Exit which puts me back to the Desktop.

There must be a setting that is required to permit File | Close for this situation. If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know.

Actually, with the Upgrade to VFP 8.0, you are allowed 3 free questions to Microsoft, so if no one has the answer I can call them.
