Hi

I did this years ago for a client just using a regular laser printer with magnetic toner. I had to use the proper MICR font and had to insure that the MICR line was printed in the correct location so that it worked correctly with MICR readers. The special symbols required were just part of the MICR font so it was simply a matter of formatting a string of text and printing it in the correct location. If I remember correctly the special symbols were mapped to standard keyboard characters.

>I have a client who is purchasing an IBM InfoPrint 1145 MICR printer. They would like to have the MICR printer print the routing, account and check numbers on the bottom of the check. Is this as simple as getting a set of barcode fonts and adding the appropiate bank numbers to the frx and changing the font? Are there special barcode fonts needed to print bank routing information? There are special characters that separate the numbers. How are these added?
