Thank you for the information. So, I just need to declare the dll and use the function. I'm acutally asking MS the following questions:

What are the DLL Search Order for different OS and service pack?

Do we simply put the dlls in the application folder or we need to add the .local file for the dll/com redirection?

Does the DLL Search Order’s changes in Windows 2003 and Windows XP SP1 affect the dll/com redirection?

Will the application folder approach work if the application folder is in a mapped network drive and all the workstations will run the application from there?
