To keep it brief, I'll just give you two examples.

First, it helps prevent typos and, since I've never abbreviated, the completion feature reduces the amount of typing I have to do.

Second, and this applies to both classes and COM objects, I get not only the list of PEM's, but in the case of events and methods, the correct parameter list as well.
