There aren't readonly controls,and I can append record to my cursor so I guess it is not readonly.
What it seems strange to me is that (I've just discovered it) I pasted that grid from another form where it works fine and in this new form it doesn't.
I'm going to build ex novo (from the beginning) the latest form and I hope to get rid of this problem.
I'll tell you tomorrow.
