i again Mike,

If you don't like the 'syntax reminder' (I guess you will love it after a while), a simple space-backspace will hide it.

Like if I type BROWSE or SELECT, my screen is over populated with stuff that I don't need at all, its almost scary what this thing can dump onto my screen. I have gone into Tools | Intellisense Manager and tried everything and cannot get this to stop except if I completely disable Intellisense.

>Its possible that it can eliminate 2 or 3 key strokes in a command line but not really. If you are used to writing 4 character verbs then all Intellisense is going to do is fill them in. If you make errors, Intellisense may correct them but the debugger fixes them anyway when you try to Close.

I do agree if you are new programmer that this would be great because you might not be sure of the syntax and this would really help.

>You know what I really like about VFP 8.0. Its the debugger. In VFP 6.0, the debugger would stop and show the line that was faulty but more than half the time the "Fix" option was disabled, so I had to exit and open up the form, find the method and locate the bad line. So far the VFP 8.0 debugger has always given me "Fix" enabled. This alone is worth the price of the upgrade. It is saving me a tremendous amount of time (even though I make very few errors <s>).

>Anyway Mike, thanks for your suggestion about m. this is something that may turn out to be very helpful.
