HI Martin,

It is most likely the Delphi 5 code for the toolbar that is causing the issue. There were a lot of changes between 5 and 7 to improve support for Themes and other improvements as well. I would highly recommend upgrading to Delphi 7 if possible. Delphi 8 is out as well but it is for building applications for the .NET Framework.

You can download the BETA 11 off of my website to see my control running under VPF 7 and 8 with a toolbar like you described.

thank's for answering.
We're using Delphi 5 here. Unfortunately the colleague who coded the ocx is absent this week so that I can't ask him which Delphi patch he is using.

Please send us your OCX-Code for testing (again this colleague will test ist, probably next week, tuesday).
We think it's no video driver issue as the effect arose on at least 3 different notebooks (HP and Compaq).
What is really strange: the same ocx is working on the same hardware, if the VFP-exe was compiled with VFP7.
