Followed your advice and it works. The method I used was to type create class in the command window. Choose the name for my class and then base it on the _comdlg in the file _system.vcx.

I have added the INewExplorer, oChangeDir,INoNetworkButton, lAllowMultiSelect to my class. If I understand correctly, these properties in my class should override the definitions of these properties in the base class. However, when I change these properties there is no effect on the dialog. For instance setting the lAllowMultiSelect property does not allow u to select multiple files.

Am I doing this correcly or can one not change these propeties.
