the setting for boot from cd is in the bios, also check the boot order. i am not sure but don't think that 95/98 can be booted from cd think that you need to go through some app/dos to start it. also 95/98 need to be on the primary partition, in most cases c, so if you have already installed 2k you may have to remove it install 95/98 on c and then install 2k on d or some other drive.
how does your back up connect to the 2k/xp machine? xp should pick it up when you connect it to the pc, if you have internet connection on that drive it will also find the newest drivers for it.

>I installed windows 2000 Pro on a Windows 95 system. Now I am trying to add another OS, Windows 95 or windows 98, to have a dual boot system. The system is not booting from CD-Rom. How can I have my system boot from CD-Rom to make dual boot installations? IF I need to boot from MS-DOS, what version would it be and how can I install Windows 98/95 from MS-DOS.
