Hello,
I have a couple of old PC's sitting around that I built from scratch and currently have no OS installed on them. I am interested in putting some version of Windows on them, but am unclear of a few issues.

First of all, I had an old PC that had Windows 98 installed on it and it blew up and is no longer existant. Can I take the Windows 98 from there and legally install it on another PC?

Also, while I was searching for cheap copies of Windows to install on them, I found OEM versions and were unclear on these.

Can anybody give me some enlightening guidance with these issues? I would appreciate it.
