>I created a multimedia application for PC and Mac using VFP 3.0. However, I am having trouble getting the .EXE to run on a machine without VFP after building it. Yes I have included the support libraries for each version. When I try and run the .EXE the program seemt to load and flash for a second and than quits. I found a section in Chapter 9 of the Professional Features Guide that seems to be the correct troubleshooting guidelines for this problem.

First of all I don't have a menu system, I am Loading a form as my main item of the project I created. Does a menu automatically get loaded? Can I disable it? Where can I find more help about the MENU READ EVENTS?

READ EVENTS is a necessity. Normally, the start module of your app (prg) could look loke:
*** some setting here
do mainmenu.mpr && start menu
do form mainform && start main form
read events
*** some cleaning here
return
To finish app gracefully main menu quit option should call CLEAR EVENTS.
Note: when you distribute app, use Setup Wizard
