I Re-install windows 95 and vfp5 in french ( because I presume it can help to prevent language conflict ). I install all options that is possible for vfp. So the problem is not because there is a missing file.

Not sure if French version has something different for it. I suggest checking :
- Are there correct runtime files (vfp5*.*) in windows\system ?
- If there are any tmpfiles setting, is it set to a readwrite drive ?
- Is there a files= setting in config.sys with a low value ?
