>Perhaps that is so, but John would be the only right one. Wow! See? I'm already a devotee.

Political definitions seem to change with time. Communism was once called “Left” and Fascism “Right”. Left is now anyone who is liberal or Democrat. Right is conservative or Republican. There no longer seems to be anything in between. Many people are biased to the extremes, which has been true for the last 15 years or so and increases daily.

Thirty years ago there was a joke about being a member of the right. There were many degrees of such terms. “You know he is right – far right – just like John Birch!” There was plenty of room for all degrees of tolerance. In some cases we just seem to become narrower minded with our lack of acceptance of others views or allowing others to express something that we do not want to hear. There is black or white and nothing in between.

I think that the Democratic and Republican parties and members have a problem. One problem is the so-called “platform”. You either buy it hook, line, and sinker or change parties. This may be why we are acquiring more parties like Independents, Green, etc.

What we need is a good revolution to set things straight. But this time it should not be a revolution like we had in 1776. Our new revolution should be more like the French Revolution. The United States Revolution was for the rich and for those who owned property. The French Revolution deposed the monarchy, control by the Church, and the wealthy. The common man got to see those in power loose his/her head. We could use that example today. Where is Robes Pierre today? We could use him. :)

Do not consider negotiating or compromising. Forget honesty for anything goes – unless you get caught. With the right friends getting caught may not be too difficult for you. It is a dog eat dog world and you get to chew your way to the top. Do not be passive or you will be seen as an enemy. Accept the status quo and love everything that occurs without consideration for the consequences.

One difference between our society and let us take Japan for one example, is that we demand instantaneous gratification. The Japanese make long range plans – like how to take over electronic manufacturing from the United States. Japan had a twenty year plan and they succeeded.
