Am encountering the same thing with some PCs trying to print JPG files. It used to work on these machines that had Win2k installed, but XP was installed on them and then the problem was encountered. Apparently these PCs do not have an OLE SERVER installed to handle the outputting of graphics. Was NOT a file association problem. Lots of file association changes did nada. An older version of MSOffice had this ole server program but it has since been removed from more recent versions of office (program was actually retired by MSFT... IMAGEEDIT or something... but dont quote me). We switched our reporting option to use the FILE method and not an APPEND GENERAL method. Problem is you cannot center the output of an image on a report when using the FILE method, where u could with the general field.

But.... let me know if u find a solution.

>I have a form with a richtext OLE control to view graphics and or text. This works fine. From the form I print this data to a hard copy. Only on some machines the printed copy(which uses an appended general field to display the rtf file) shows a MS Word icon with the file name under it. Again this only happens on some machines, not all of them. If I go directly to the source rtf file it will display just fine using MS Word.
