Robert - I have found the syntax of DynamicBackColor to be tricky. Also, when you set it in the Expression Builder, VFP automatically places an = sign before the IIF, which keeps it from working, though it does work if you remove the =. My GUESS is that you need to remove the quotes around your IIF statement. Don Smith
