Menu activation by mouse click stops working

We've recently converted a very large FP2.6 system to VFP8.0 SP1 using the conversion tool demonstrated at OzFox 2003. Everything is working quite well. The only annoying "feature" that we cannot track down is that on some client machines the menus become eratic when it comes to responding to mouse clicks. For example (because that's a really poor description) the user will click on the menu four or five times before the menu will activate. The mouse over highlighting is working for the main menu pads but the menu will not activate. Pressing and holding the mouse button will always get the menu to activate.

This behaviour does not happen straight away and quitting out of the application does not fix the problem. The only way to fix it is to reboot the system. When it occurs, it seems to affect all the VFP 8.0 applications on the system. Unfortunately a large number of our users access our system using Citrix and we have to reboot the entire Cirtix server to fix the problem.

Has anyone else had a similar problem? Does anyone have any ideas where to start looking?

Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks,

Rob Spencer
