Guys,

I'm working with a client who has half a MS Cluster working with OFS. Someone managed to evict the other node of the cluster about a year ago and then used the server for something else - excellent! So we are now running with only one node. The cluster is running WinNT and Oracle 8.0.5 with SAP R/3 over the top. I want to upgrade Oracle to 8.1.7 before migrating the database to a new server under Windows 2000. My problem is that the Oracle Fail Safe gui program won't start because it can't find the other node. No suprise there as there isn't one. Question: is there any way of removing the OSF service at the command line? I think that something like 'fssvr /remove PRD.world' might do it, but I'm not sure and I can't check it until tomorrow when the system will be handed over to me.

Any bright ideas, any at all, would be appreciated.

Regards
Graham
