I wanted to get back to you on the diabled "Close" in the File Menu when attempting to Close a form. This in turn lead me to do File | Save then Escape.

I had sent the technician my Form and he couldn't close it either. It now turns out that this is a known issue with VFP 8.0. Possibly it effects me because I am on Windows 2000 and you are on XP.

He was able to close the Form with (CTRL+W) which I think is better then FILE | SAVE plus ESCAPE.

So they are working on this already and the fix should be in the next Service Pack.
