It should work on almost any machine. The one exception that I can think of would be a Win95 box that never had IE 4.01 installed. Under Win95, you had to have that version installed in order to have access to the ActiveDesktop. The Shell.Application is part of that(the ActiveDesktop). This isn't a problem with later versions of Windows that the ActiveDesktop (such as Win98) is a part of.
