Jay,
While I personally agree with you, I can also understand some people's reluctance to share the code and/or documentation for legal reasons, even if the company is defunct. My intention for starting this thread was strictly related to providing a solution for my client in a very short time window.
That being said, I just wanted to let everyone know that has replied to this thread both on the UT as well as via private e-mail that I appear to have a working library at this point. I have managed to aquire a copy of Silverfox 4.02 and 4.04 for FoxPro Dos libraries and their source code.
I did some brief testing with 4.02 yesterday for a proof-of-concept with the application, and it went well. I will probably move to the 4.04 compiled library this morning for the remainder of development if and until somebody comes up with a version that specifically states in the readme that is was compiled against the FoxPro 2.6 Library construction kit, I will use the 4.02 or 4.04 libraries as compiled using the FoxPro 2.5 Library construction kit as they appear to be working without any issues or errors.
My personal thanks to everyone who took interest and have attempted to provide a solution via software, documentation or both. It is yet another testiment to the great community we have on the UT.
regards,
JE
