I was originally thinking that the dbc would have a reference to the other dbc with the view. When I looked at our old Fox dbcs, I don't see that as the case, so I think you're okay with what you're doing.

I think, though, you will have have to call SetDBCPath() for any dbcs that aren't already in the path defined in Setup.prg's function called SetPath.
