I have a program that establishes a connection to an MS SQL database via SQLCONNECT and occasionally fails when trying to use the connection handle in an SQLEXEC command.

Is there any way to test the validity of a data source connection handle made by SQLCONNECT before using the connection handle in an SQLEXEC command in a subsequent function?
