If I may offer these two suggestions (for myself, as well as anyone else), it's always important to be specific about what versions we're talking about. Both when we ask _and_ answer questions. Thus, I would have taken more care to say that I know of the bug in version 6 and earlier, but since finding it, I've not even tried the technique again. The second suggestion is...life and our interactions are complex (as in math) and thus these things will seem messy at times. Which is sometimes frustrating and sometimes exciting. It's always good to search out ways to lessen the frustration, if it's possible, but in this case...I don't think it is, really.
