One of the commonest tasks that we have to deal with is that of finding a specific record in a table, cursor or view. Whilst, at first glance, this does not seem to be a task that can easily be handled generically, Andy and Marcia find that with a little thought any text field, on any form, can be used to as the basis for searches.
