>thats the thing, it should be an easy report. there is nothing in the data environment and i select the information i need from two tables in to a cursor, there is only one record. i currently browse this cursor just before i call the report and all of the information is there. i have used nofilter and readwrite as the cursor properties but sill the error.
Apart from the remote possibility of a mis-spelled variable, I have no further ideas right now.
