Heya Dorin -
not sure what you're going on about here as it applies to VFP's View Designer -
but ?
FB has SP, and if you forget about the concept of remote view with VFP for a moment, and just create a cursor based on a FireBird Stored Procedure, is not that sufficient ?

The View Designer in VFP is a pointy clicky thing, and generates the sql code to be used. There is ONE dropdown where these words are stored -
what are your thoughts of making your own View Designer ?
